The Little Cake Parlour first started in 2006 as a business from home, baking up all kind of cakes, cupcakes, cookies and pies for local cafes and delicatessens as well as weekly farmer’s markets. In 2010, as the business grew, the home kitchen just wasn’t going to cut it anymore, so we opened a shop with an on-site bakery in Shawlands.
As well as catering to the local community with freshly baked cupcakes made on site every day, we even started to get some celebrity customers including My Chemical Romance, Chvrches, Giovanna Fletcher and Ed Sheeran. We were delighted to be an Official Supplier to the MOBO Awards both times the event has been held in Glasgow, and our cakes have been used on TV shows such as River City and Lost in Scotland and Beyond, and the recent movie Love You To Death.
We have since moved from our shop to a private kitchen based in Brook Street Studios.
We are thrilled to be recommended suppliers to some of the best wedding venues in Glasgow, including Oran Mor, House for an Art Lover, WEST Brewery, Sloans, Crossbasket Castle, Mar Hall, and Pollok House.
Every cake we make is made with care and love, and everything is always baked fresh using top quality ingredients. We can also accommodate many dietary needs including, vegan, gluten free and eggless cakes.
